In the Mac app

Meltymoji stores your favorites, emoji use history, display mode, skin tone, and other preferences locally in macOS UserDefaults. The app uses these settings to show your favorites and recently or frequently used emoji. It does not need an account or an internet connection to browse and copy emoji.

When you click an emoji, Meltymoji copies it to your Mac’s clipboard. Your searches and emoji activity are not sent to a Meltymoji server.
